The Effects of Delayed Pushing During the Second Stage of Labor on Postpartum Fatigue and Labor Results

Objective: The study was made to examine the effects of delayed pushing during second stage labor and on postpartum fatigue results.Method: This is a randomized controlled experimental study. sampling research comprised 48 primiparous women (23 in group 25 control group). initiated when strong uterine contraction appeared fetal head rotation completed. Different from group, “+1” inside pelvis, considering desire push, pregnant were asked delay until feeling powerful involuntary reflex group. As data collection tool, “Pregnant Identification Form”, “Follow-up “Partograph” and, “Visual Analogue Scale for Fatigue” used.Results: mean duration 38.34 ± 17.84 minutes 13.52 5.29 It observed that statistically significant difference found between terms labor, time, average fatigue, energy scores first hour after (p <0.05).Conclusion: out prolonged time but reduced significantly affected at one postpartum.
